Never let your car leave the area.  Every insurance company can send someone here to look at it and evaluate it before it leaves the area.  Never let your car leave until you know exactly how much they are going to reimburse you for your car.

Yes, your deductible is the part of the repair you are responsible for.  Also, paying your deductible is what ensures you that you are getting the appropriate repair.
